My name is Hamza. I was born in 1996 in the mountains of the High Atlas, where my family has lived for generations. We are a family of artisans who have long relied on our craft: the ART OF HANDMADE. Wooden plates and bowls, leather shoes, and handwoven rugs… This craftsmanship, passed down from generation to generation, was our only means of livelihood for many years.
Over time, with the evolution of technology, I realized that Moroccan craftsmanship is a true treasure, sought after in the world of decoration and interior design. Yet, while these unique pieces have become trendy, many major brands and international retailers have favored industrialized models, often detached from their origins and authentic values.
This is how BaldiChic was born. First envisioned for Morocco, without intermediaries, to promote our local craftsmanship and support artisan families of the High Atlas, BaldiChic has grown and is now ready to cross borders.
From the Atlas to the World: Our Expansion to Europe and the United States Today, BaldiChic is no longer limited to Morocco. We have decided to open our doors internationally, so that “Handmade in Morocco” can shine in Europe and the United States. This expansion is not only a business opportunity, it is also a commitment: to allow more Moroccan artisans to live from their craft and ensure fair compensation, while sharing with the world the richness of our culture.
